Ken Ruderman (Short Hills, NJ) extends his chip lead when he eliminates Jason Berligen (Spring, TX) in 11th place and sends the final 10 player home for the night.
"Bed time," is Ruderman's sign off as players bag and tag before returning for Saturday's final table.
Ruderman, who says he's playing in just his second live tournament, hit a straight on the turn and fades Berligen's full house draw to add 175k to finish the day with 690k.
Several recognizable names are in the mix for the $28,225 first prize and the trophy including, Bruce Yamron (Naples, FL), who won this event in the 2012 Borgata Fall Poker Open.
Play resumes 1 pm Saturday with the average stack at 388k (39 bb) and blinds at 5k/10k
