$350 + $50 + $100 Black Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry)
The poker marathon known as Event 2 is in the books. After 23 hours our winner is Tom Dobrilovic who took out Mark Anderson in a rapid heads-up lasting one hand.
Tom's been away from poker tournaments for a couple years and he's off to a roaring return. As for this tournament, the key hand was when his tens held up against Matt Bornitz' KJ when they were down to four players.
This was a Re-Entry tournament and many did. In fact, Borgata's number of total entries came in at 865 making the Total Buy-In $302,750.
It was also the highly popular $100 black chip bounty. Rajen Mahadevappa who has only been playing poker for one and a half months finished in 6th Place for $13,215 with an impressive 14 bounty chips.
Patricia Cahill from Long Island was our Last Woman Standing and played beside Borgata regulars like Will "the thrill" Failla, Bart Dowling, Martha Patella, Smiley Chin, Roland Israelashvilli, and Mark Wahba.
The tournament began started in both the Event Center and Borgata Poker Room and ended in the Event Center. Final Table kicked off at 6am and once these guys got their second wind, there was a lot of room still left in the structure to play some poker.
Alas, when the sun rose, it was Tom Dobrilovic from (West Nyack, NY) who was crowned Event 2 champ taking home the Borgata Winter Poker Open trophy along with $67,546. Congratulations!
