The final three have been pushing blinds and antes around the table for a while.  Few flops have been seen.

Then a big had developed between Joe Stiers (button) and Sam Taylor (big blind).

Joe opened for 1.2 million and Sam called.

The flop was 8 6 5 and both checked.

Turn was a King.  Sam checked, Joe bet 1.5 million, and Joe called.

River was a 2.

Sam checked, and Joe checked behind.

Sam showed 84 suited for a pair of 8s.  Joe mucked.

That pot put Sam over 25 million.

Joe was left with about 24 million.
