Sonya Pickett (Ashburn, VA)
Congratulations to Sonya Pickett who is the Event 13 Last Woman Standing.
It was a fight to the finish between Kim Findura (Butler, NJ) and Sonya who were at different tables.
Kim pushed with K-2 up against Bill Paterson's A-8. She turned a Broadway draw but the river gave Bill two pair.

Before she departed, Kim told Sonya to represent the women. "I'm gonna try honey - these men are brutal" said the very pleasant Pickett.
She's only been playing 6 months but is tutoring under Borgata WPT Champion Dwight Pilgrim. Sonya couldn't say enough nice things about Dwight and feels blessed that he is helping her.
"He talked me into coming to Borgata and really took me under his wing" said Sonya. During our visit she folded JJ pre after Opponent re-raised her.
