On a board of 4 7 8 10, Robert Tepper (Kirkland, WA) is all in against Mike Gogliormella (Yonkers, NY).
Tepper: 9 7
Gogliormella: 9 8
The river 9 gives both players two pair, but Gogliormella's 9s and 8s are best. Tepper finishes in 42nd place.
A few hands later on another table, Richard Rice (Fort Lauderdale, FL) ships the last of his chips with AQ but doesn't connect vs the pocket kings of Ryan Paluf (Highland Hts, OH).
Rice is out in 41st place and Paluf is now one of the big stacks with 1.7 million.
