Anthony Maio - (Jamison, PA)
The hand that crippled Anthony was when he lost a K-Q vs. 3-3 flip against Eric Tal. He then immediately doubled his short stack winning with A-J vs. John Kirsch's K-10.
But in the end, Maio's J-8 was way behind Raymond Morgan's J-J on a board reading Q-2-Q-Q-2.
Anthony was down to 7,000 and built back. Twice he was down to 1 big blind and stacked back.
"It was an accident I even got in this tournament. I busted out of the Championship" explained Maio.
Congratulations to Anthony for his 5th Place finish earning $8,344.
