Andrew Badecker raises from early position, and Chuck Gabbard (Southport, N.C.) calls behind him. Flop falls 8♥ 5♦ 2♠. Badecker checks. Gabbard bets out 45K, and Badecker calls.
K♠ comes on fourth street and Badecker slides out 42K. Gabbard flats.
River is the 4♣. Badecker checks, Gabbard bets out a stack of greys totalling 100K...inducing a fold from Badecker.
After that pot, Gabbard is sitting on just around 600K. Badecker has around 670K or so based on my untrained eye.
Chuck Gabbard mentioned that he had a liver tranplant operation back in April 2011 and is very lucky to be alive and well right now...and very happy to be playing this tournament. We wish you continued health Chuck, and best of luck in this tournament!
